"Besides the role as President of Forwell, Hsiao Wen-long (蕭文龍) is also an executive supervisor of TAMI (Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry). In the interview, he points out that Taiwanese machinery suppliers shall work towards the goal of smart machinery in order to consolidate their international marketing competitiveness in the world. Besides, Hsiao also says that Taiwanese shall also reinforce their strength in the area of IOT (technology of internet of things).
President Hsiao pointed out that, year 2017 is the year of artificial intelligence (AI) as well as intelligent machinery. Taiwanese suppliers should continue to move forward towards the development of ""Intelligent Machinery"". This is also the only way for Taiwanese machinery manufacturers to win over the competition, and it is necessary to strengthen the construction and development of the IOT technology. Among the entire IOT inventory, things regarding people’s livelihood shall be arranged on the top of the the priority list, as it can drive the entire consumer market. He appealed to the relevant government officials to develop the corresponding markets, and stimulate the economy with a large-scale movement; Hsiao believe that people shall conduct assessment of the situation first, submitting projects that can improve Taiwan’s competitiveness in the world.
In the past, Forwell has been dedicating to the development of mold and die transmission system (the automatic cart system), automatic mold and die warehousing system, and the maintenance system called smart mold and die management system. President Hsiao emphasized that, Inside the Forwell Group any project or plan proposed and operated by employees have to be sustainable. Now Forwell Group is working on a Three-year Moving Forward Project, which would shift the development of smart mold and die management to a new paradigm, the so-called FUDE robot technology. Looking forward to the future, it is expected that under the operation of all its business plans, Forwell is about to expand new market opportunities all over the places where people need automation technology.
